SkillBall is a great new Arkanoid/Breakout game clone with 20 beautiful and well designed levels of increasing difficulty. As in all Breakout games the objective is to destroy and remove all bricks/pieces from the screen with a ball that is controlled with a paddle.
SkillBall features nine exciting kinds of Power-Ups that can be collected and used with the paddle. There are known power-ups like Multi- and FireBall and also new and unique like Comet and MegaBullet with which one can shoot at the bricks.
SkillBall also can be played in two game modes, Tournament and Practice Mode. Tournament always starts at level 1 with 3 lives. The goal is to finish the last level 20 without loosing all lives. In addition to that, 4 additional groups will be highlighted in deeper background, and the numbers in each of these groups should not be the same. You can click a number on the number pad on the left of the grid to fill in a blank. If a number you entered violates any of the above rules, the corresponding squares will be highlighted in red, and you can click the cross button at the bottom of the number pad to erase the number. If you are not able to make any moves, you may click the Hint button under the grid to reveal one of the answers, but note that each time you do so 100 seconds will be added to the time you have spent, as recorded at the bottom left corner of the screen.
