A player, who operates the main Strategic defence station, must protect the Earth from comets, meteorites and fireballs. The space objects have different paths of motion (direct, cyclic or free fall). A player must make a shot using a plasma ball, take into account speed and path of motion of the object. In the game there are real show-places of 10 European countries and USA.
If a player strikes, he gets the scores. If a player shoots down two objects at one stroke, he gets a bonus - annihilator. Using annihilator a player can destroy all the objects but without any extra scores. During destruction of buildings by space objects a player loses scores. Managing the game is held by the mouse. You can get the next level only having a positive number of scores. Making a shot (left mouse button), launching of an annihilator (double click), an explosion of the last plasma ball in the place it had time to fly (one click on the base).
All the game information is shown on the indicator panel : a temperature of station locator, an opportunity to shoot not more than 3 times running, a type of danger of the space objects, a number of scores, quantity of shots and geographical area. On the station (locator) there is an indicator light of complexity and danger of the current game level. |

Try to guess the name of the historical character and the corresponding country. The country is intended where the character lived and is famous for and not where he was born. Refer to the present countries (i.e. the country for an ancient roman emperor is Italy and not Rome). By clicking on a letter (lower part of the screen) that letter is chosen and, if present in the sentence, is added to the sentence (higher part of the screen): each correctly guessed consonant earns 7500 pts while choosing a vowel costs 25000 pts. A limited number of errors (initially 5) are given to the player and an extra error is gained when the sentence is cleared. If the player thinks the correct answer is known, the button “Solve” can be clicked: in “solve mode” the player must guess the correct letters (one by one) that form the sentence (the current letter to guess is indicated by a ? in the sentence). Join the Animal Olympics and seize the gold in 10m Platform Diving! In this game you will play as the penguin representing the Penguin Kingdom to compete in the final of the diving competition. Your opponents include beaver, frog, seal, otter and kingfisher, and your goal is to beat these contestants by performing the best jumps in a total of 5 rounds. To ensure fairness, the contestants are only allowed to perform groups 1 to 4 in tuck (C) position and group 5 in free (D) position. The game begins with the penguin walking to the edge of the platform, and you can choose backward or forward as the jumping direction by clicking the corresponding icon. If you have selected a direction but would like to change your mind, you can click the other icon to choose the other direction. When you have made your choice, click the Dive button at the bottom, and the penguin will prepare to jump. A vertical power gauge will be shown on the screen, indicating the power of the jump. To set the power, simply click the mouse or press any key on your keyboard when the red line moves to the desired position. Then another guage in the shape of a sector will appear on the right of the power gauge, indicating the angle of the jump. Click the mouse or press any key on your keyboard to set the angle, and the penguin will perform the jump. The height and distance of the jump are determined by the jumping direction and angle. If the jumping direction and angle are set to the extreme, the penguin will hit the platform and become dizzy, resulting in an epic failure. If the jump is successful, the penguin can perform special tricks in the air before reaching the water. You can press the up or down arrow key on the screen or on your keyboard to perform a flip, or hit the left or right arrow key for a twist. Note that once a flipping or twisting direction is chosen, you will not be allowed to flip or twist in an opposite direction, for example, when you have pressed the down arrow key to perform a forward flip, you will not be allowed to perform a backward flip. It is also impossible to perform flip and twist at the same instance, therefore you need to release the arrow keys for flip or twist before performing another trick. When the penguin reaches 5m above the water, a blinking Spacebar will appear at the upper part of the screen, hinting the entry. Press the Spacebar on your keyboard, and the penguin will extend its arms forward and prepare for the entry. The flip and twist buttons on the screen will be removed, and another blinking Spacebar will appear at the upper part of the screen, hinting the suppression of water splash. Press the Spacebar on your keyboard again so that the splash can be minimized. After the dive is completed, each of the 5 judges will give you a score within the range of 0.0 to 10.0 based on the jump and the entry. The highest and the lowest scores will be eliminated, while the remaining 3 will be summed and multiplied by the Degree of Difficulty (DD) based on actual diving. The penguin will be delighted if the average score is not lower than 7.0, but it will be disappointed if the average score is lower than 7.0. The current score and rank of each contestant will be displayed on the leaderboard after each round. Upon the completion of all 5 rounds, the penguin will stand on the podium if it has won a medal. Are you ready to face the engaging challenge of Lady Jane Solitaire? This card game is played with 2 decks of standard playing cards, and your task is to move all cards to 8 foundations by suit from A to K.
When the game opens, Each of the 10 tableau piles will be dealt 1 to 10 cards from left to right. 8 foundations are located above the tableau piles, and 3 upturned cards will be dealt to the discard pile on the left of the foundations. The remaining cards will be downturned and placed to the stock pile on the left of the discard pile.
Cards on the tableau piles are to be built down regardless of suits, for example, a 7 of spades can be moved to the top of an 8 of any suit. If a group of cards are built down by suit, you can move the whole group to another tableau pile when the starting card of that group is of an immediately lower ranking than the topmost card on the target tableau pile.
An empty tableau pile can be occupied by any card. You may click the stock pile to deal 3 new cards to the discard pile, but note that each time you can only move the topmost card on the discard pile. If the stock pile is used up, you have one chance to redeal. If you are not satisfied with the progress, you may click the Give Up button at the bottom of the screen to end the current game.
