This highly addictive numerical game of Kakuro is refined from the fine elements of Sudoku and crossword. Come and challenge the randomly generated puzzles now! Your goal in this game is to fill in all of the blanks with numbers 1 to 9, such that the numbers in each horizontally or vertically connected group are not the same, and the numbers in a group will give the sum of the clue in front of the group. When the game opens, you will be given numerous blanks which are randomly divided into different groups, running horizontally or vertically. In front of each group a number is presented as a clue, indicating the sum of all numbers within that group. When you hover your mouse over a clue, the possible equations will be displayed for your reference. To fill in a blank, click the number pad on the left of the screen, then click the corresponding square. If a number you put violates the rules mentioned above, the corresponding squares will be highlighted in red, and you can remove the incorrect numbers by clicking the cross button on the number pad and selecting the corresponding squares. If you cannot make any moves, you may click the Hint button at the bottom of the screen to receive an answer, but note that each time you do so 100 seconds will be added to the time you have spent, as indicated at the bottom left corner. When the game opens, the vowels of the hidden words will be filled into the corresponding blocks of the puzzle, while a list of the 26 letters will be presented at the bottom of the screen. Hover your mouse over an empty blank, and all the blocks which contain the same letter will also be highlighted. Click a block and select a letter on the list to fill in the blanks. Note that only letters highlighted in blue on the list can be selected. Can you master the wordtris by using the descending letters to form meaningful words? In this game, your goal is to arrange the descending blocks of letters so that they form words with at least 3 letters in a horizontal or vertical line and then be destroyed. You can use the down, left and right arrow keys on your keyboard to move a descend block. Take notice of the next letter which is shown on the left of the play area, and aim for a higher score by spelling longer words or the word shown in the bonus section. If a bomb appears, you can land it on a block to destroy all blocks of the same letter, for example, when you land a bomb on a block which writes "A", all of the blocks of the letter A will be destroyed. When a block of fire lands on a block, it will first spread horizontally until its path is blocked by a wall, a block or an empty space. Then it will destroy all connected blocks in the row below its path. If a block of fire has landed on an empty pile, it will simply destroy itself. The game ends when a column of blocks reaches the top of the play area and no more words can be formed. Try to form chains and combos and become an expert of Word Out! |
