Solitaire Circus can be addictive! Known also as "Patience", Solitaire has existed for centuries and continues to enjoy enormous popularity. Particularly suited to strategic thinkers and the patient alike!
With Solitaire Circus, you try to amount a predetermined number of points by setting cards down on either the target piles or an intermediate pile of cards.
A card is dealt from the main pile of face down cards and laid on your pile. This card must then be moved to either a target pile or an intermediate pile. On the intermediate piles, cards may only be laid down in an ascending order and alternating colour (e.g. red 10, black 9, red 8, black 7 etc.).
The target piles must always start with an ace as first card and from then on only cards of the same suit in ascending order may be laid down (e.g. Ace of Hearts, 2 of Hearts etc.). Kings may only be laid down on empty spaces.
If you can't lay a card down from your hand (made up of your intermediate piles), another is dealt from the main pile. Once all cards from the main pile are exhausted, the intermediate pile is turned over and used as the main pile. Already played cards may not be moved without a points penalty.
If you can't go any further, you always have the possibility of starting a new round, for which there's also a points penalty. Try to always keep a spot free to receive a card. This way, you can always throw away kings and queens and avoid a points penalty. |

Are you ready to face the engaging challenge of Lady Jane Solitaire? This card game is played with 2 decks of standard playing cards, and your task is to move all cards to 8 foundations by suit from A to K.
When the game opens, Each of the 10 tableau piles will be dealt 1 to 10 cards from left to right. 8 foundations are located above the tableau piles, and 3 upturned cards will be dealt to the discard pile on the left of the foundations. The remaining cards will be downturned and placed to the stock pile on the left of the discard pile.
Cards on the tableau piles are to be built down regardless of suits, for example, a 7 of spades can be moved to the top of an 8 of any suit. If a group of cards are built down by suit, you can move the whole group to another tableau pile when the starting card of that group is of an immediately lower ranking than the topmost card on the target tableau pile.
An empty tableau pile can be occupied by any card. You may click the stock pile to deal 3 new cards to the discard pile, but note that each time you can only move the topmost card on the discard pile. If the stock pile is used up, you have one chance to redeal. If you are not satisfied with the progress, you may click the Give Up button at the bottom of the screen to end the current game. Pixelotl is a 2D puzzle-platformer in which the player controls a salamander-like creature who on a mission to save his friends. He does this by going through fifty levels split into five different worlds, each with different themes and challenges.
Unique in this game is the use of elastic platforms/blocks and a controllable gravitational field. While most platformers have rigid and stationary platforms, we instead have different colored blocks which move fluidly and react to the player. The game is centered on getting enough points to move on to the next level under a restricted time limit. You control a paddle which allows you to bounce a ball and keep it from falling and being destroyed. The balls bounce height can be manipulated by pressing up or down as the ball hits the paddle. Using those simple techniques you must complete the levels objective to gain points.
There are no lives or number of balls to worry about. The only thing that restricts you is the time limit on the level.
The games game play is simplistic but continually addictive throughout the games 20 unique and progressively challenging levels. Although the game play is not incredible fast it requires quick reflexes as well as short term strategy (some luck is also involved). |
